What founder pricing means

This is early-stage pricing for early customers. The handmade process does not change. Each vessel is cast, finished, wicked, poured, and boxed by hand. What changes as the business develops is the range, the production tools, and eventually the price.

Right now, the price is £12. That is not a discount. There is no sale. There is no countdown. It is simply an honest price for an early-stage brand that wants people to try it.

Why we call it founder pricing

Candles made from scratch have more in them than a hand-poured candle in a glass jar. The vessel is made here. The process takes longer. The margin at £12 is not comfortable.

But the logic is straightforward: if early customers do not try the candle, the range cannot grow.

What might change

As the range develops — more scents, larger vessels, improved moulds — the pricing will reflect that. Customers who come in early are part of what makes the next stage possible.

  • Coconut wax · Cotton wick

    155g coconut wax. Burns approximately 25 hours. Cotton wick, centred by hand

    Each candle is boxed. The packaging is clean and considered. No extra wrapping required.
