About Limewick

A small UK candle brand. Not a studio brand, not a factory. One maker, a small number of scents, and a product that starts from scratch.

Limewick Coastal Morning coconut wax melt in rock salt and driftwood scent, 60g clamshell

Where it started

The question was simple: why do all small candle brands look the same?

Most buy the same glass jars, pour the same wax, apply a label, and the only difference is the scent name. The vessel is generic. The story is thin.

Limewick started from a different place. The vessel is cast in stone, made here by the maker's own hands. The mould is ours. The shape is ours. The candle is a complete object.

How the candles are made

Each candle goes through nine stages: cast the vessel, cure it, sand and finish it, prime or seal where needed, wick it, pour the coconut wax, cure the candle, label it, box it. No stage is outsourced. No part of the vessel is bought in ready-made.

The scents

The scent range is small and deliberate. Five scents, each with a clear character and a clear room or mood recommendation. No filler. No obvious seasonal throwaway.

This is an early-stage brand.

The range is small, the pricing is introductory, and the production is genuinely by hand. That is not a romantic story - it is a practical one.
