Warm woods and dry cedar embers, softened with a mineral coastal edge and sueded amberwood. Dark without being heavy.
Refined rather than smoky. The evening scent.

The cedar here is dry and architectural: not a pine forest, closer to a cedar-lined room or a well-kept study.
The mineral salt note keeps it from becoming too warm, and the amberwood underneath rounds everything out into something that feels genuinely considered rather than generic.

The one you light when the day is done.

Burn & Care Guidance

Getting the most from your candle

First burn — let the wax melt all the way to the edge before extinguishing. This takes around 2–3 hours and prevents tunnelling.

Wick — trim to approximately 5 mm before each burn.
A shorter wick gives a cleaner, steadier flame and slows soot.

Burn time — keep burns between 2 and 4 hours.
The vessel will get warm; always place on a heat-safe surface.

Storage — keep away from direct sunlight and draughts.

Wax Melt Care

Using your wax melt

Break or cut the clamshell into sections. Place one or two pieces in a clean wax melt burner - electric or tea-light, both work.

One section is enough for most rooms. Scent will fade after several uses; replace when no longer noticeable.

Never leave a burning tea-light unattended.

Handmade Vessel

The cast-stone vessel

Each vessel is handmade from cast stone. The shape, weight, surface texture and finish vary slightly between pieces. That is not a flaw.

The stone is dense and tactile. It sits differently from glass or ceramic. Heavier. More considered. Designed to belong in a room long after the candle has burned.

Giftability

Smoke & Suede as a gift

A strong gift for someone who knows their own taste -
people who decorate with dark wood and leather, or who appreciate a scent with more edge than florals.

More specific than Clean Luxe or Coastal Morning, which makes it feel more personal when you get it right. Arrives boxed in eco-friendly packaging.

Frequently asked questions

What type of wax does Limewick use?

Coconut wax. A natural wax with a clean burn profile and good scent throw. It burns slower and cooler than paraffin, which helps the fragrance carry without becoming overpowering.

What is the vessel made from?

Handmade cast stone. Each piece is slightly different in texture and weight, that variation is part of what makes it handmade. The vessel is designed to look good in a room whether or not the candle is lit.

How do I stop my candle tunnelling?

Allow the wax to melt all the way to the edge on the first burn; this usually takes 2–3 hours.

Tunnelling happens when a candle is extinguished before the melt pool reaches the sides, and it is very difficult to reverse once set.

Can I use the vessel once the candle has burned down?

Yes - the cast-stone vessel is designed to be kept. It works as a tealight holder, planter, or simply as an object on a shelf. Clean it out with a small amount of boiling water to loosen the remaining wax.

How long does delivery take?

Standard delivery is 3–5 business days, £5.99. Free on orders over £35.

Do you accept returns?

Yes, with conditions — please contact us at hello@limewick.com before returning an item.
